What difference has Jesus made in world history? How has Christianity shaped the way our culture understands itself today?
Dr Sarah Irving-Stonebraker is Senior Lecturer in Modern European History at Western Sydney University. Her first book, Natural Science and the Origins of the British Empire, was awarded The Royal Society of Literature and Jerwood Foundation Award for Non-fiction. Sarah became a Christian as a 28-year-old, after a period of questioning many of the assumptions she had previously held as an atheist.
After a conversation with Sarah, there will be plenty of time for questions (either from the floor, or via an online platform).
There will be a relaxed pizza dinner beforehand—or just come for the conversation and questions.
Dinner from 6.30pm, conversation and Q&A from 7.15pm.
Please RSVP for catering purposes.
Cost: $5 (only if you are having dinner, otherwise no charge)
